FireDigit is proud to announce the release of version 3.5 of the HotSpot Manager!
HotSpot Manager version 3.5 introduces some interesting new features:
- a new type of portal page: the hospitality portal, with which clients can view their bill or read messages sent by the hotel staff
- support for multiple gateways and multiple locations on 1 site
- possibility to charge guests instead of rooms
- …
These are only a few new features of version 3.5. For more information about these and the other new features, please find our release notes in attachment.

To better fulfill the needs, requirements and possibilities of the properties, we offer now 3 types of appliances. The choice depends on the load that has to be taken:
- Low-end appliance: supports up to 50 concurrent users
- Appliance: supports up to 200 concurrent users
- High-end appliance: supports up to 1000 concurrent users
New: Array Manager!
Properties using Xirrus equipment for their Wi-Fi coverage can now use the Array Manager for the user management. The Array Manager synchronizes the user databases of all Xirrus Arrays in your network.
Upgrade!
From the 20th of March 2009 all new installations will be shipping version 3. 5. If you have a HotSpot Manager running, it can be upgraded to the new version. Please contact support@firedigit.com and include the install code of the application you want to upgrade. Support will provide you with the steps required to perform the upgrade. Clients with a maintenance contract are eligible for a free upgrade to version 3.5.
